Sharing the Joy of Music

The Festival Singers of Orange County, led by Artistic Director Gary Toops who is retiring after 42 years, presents a program of music reflecting the ensemble's favorite music during that time. The repertoire includes music from Broadway, classical and sacred selections, spirituals, folk and patriotic music and songs from “The Great American Songbook.” Mezzo-soprano Lisa Naulls, the featured artist, will excite and inspire us with her beautiful rich voice and some great gospel music. She has been a member of the Los Angeles Chamber Singers, and the Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers whose objective is to bring international recognition of the rich genre of African-American music known as spirituals.
