The Tuolumne County Volunteer Fair is returning to the Mother Lode Fairgrounds on April 4h from 4-7pm. This is a great one-stop shop opportunity for locals to find out about volunteer opportunities in our County. There will 75 local community organizations, agencies and social service groups staffing tables to provide information about their group needs.
This fun event is sponsored by Sonora Area Foundation and co-hosted by Love Tuolumne County and Blue Zones Project.
According to research, volunteering can add years to a person’s life through creating meaningful connections to community, utilizing one’s skills, and creating positive feelings about where you live and work. Volunteer Fairs link community needs with volunteer interests, helping provide people with opportunities to live their purpose.
You can see all of the fabulous organizations who will be participating at tcvfair.org. Food will be available for purchase from Rockin Tacos and Barista Betties. The event and parking are free, and people of all ages and abilities are welcome!
