Come to the award-winning Annual Poplar Hill Mansion Festival as we celebrate the Federal Period history of Salisbury! The day long festival will include War of 1812 re-enactors: Chesapeake Independent Blues, live dancing and music featuring the Dover Country Dancers, educational displays, a children's activity area with crafts and games, Community Curator's Tent, and a May Pole to celebrate May Day. There will also be a Market Square with vendors selling handcrafted items on the street in front of the Mansion. It's sure to be a fun filled day! Tours of Poplar Hill Mansion will also be available throughout the day and volunteers will be wearing period dress. This is a FREE event with parking located in the Bethesda Methodist Church parking lot on the corner of Division St. and Isabella St. in the Newtown Neighborhood.
