Free Summer Concerts on The Green - Let's Fill The Hill - Edina

The Church of St. Patrick in Edina is thrilled to announce the lineup for its highly anticipated 3^rd Annual Concerts On The Green 2024 Season. This event promises to deliver unforgettable performances in the heart of our community. Concerts On The Green is a family-friendly event that welcomes music lovers of all ages. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets to enjoy the outdoor concert experience. Snacks, pop and bottled water will be available for purchase.

This year's lineup features two sensational bands that will have audiences dancing and singing along. Mark your calendars for the following dates:

Friday, June 21, 2024, at 7:00pm, get ready to rock out with the Classic American Rockers who play the hits we all grew up with. Featuring Paul Peterson (bass, vocals), Patty Peterson (vocals), Tommy Barbarella (keyboard), Jim Anton (guitar), Joe Elliott (guitar), & Joe Finger (drums), with special guest Bill McReavy. These musicians have toured or recorded with some of the biggest names in rock and roll, including Steve Miller, Boz Scaggs, Kenny Loggins, Prince, and Peter Frampton, just to name a few.

Friday, July 19, 2024, at 7:00pm, join us for a groovy evening with The 70’s Magic Sunshine Band as they bring their high-energy live concert experience that plays the biggest top 40 AM radio hits from the 1970’s, tailor-made to keep you moving. The 70’s Magic Sunshine Band brings you back to the era of 8-track stereos, roller skating, polyester, and belle bottoms. The band, featuring Lance (lead vocals, guitar), Kevin “Heavy Keavy”, (drums), Aaron, “The Living Legend” (bass, vocals), and John “The Captain” (keyboards, vocals, guitar, harmonica) pays tribute to memorable hit making artists, including, Three Dog Night, KC & The Sunshine Band, Rod Stewart, ABBA, The Doobie Brothers, Queen, and so many others.
