KLIFE Pickleball Palooza

EVENT DESCRIPTION

We invite you to come and join us at the Missouri Pickleball Club for an evening full of fun, food, fellowship, fundraising, and of course, America's new favorite sport, PICKLEBALL! The event will be held on the evening of Friday, April 5th, from 7:00pm until 10:00pm. Play at the event is for ages 15 and up.

For just $50 per ticket, you can enjoy a fantastic evening with St. Louis KLIFE!

The $50 event ticket will include:

-3 hours of pickleball court time

-Pickleball paddles and balls for use (feel free to bring your own paddle if you have one but they will also be provided at the event)

-Round robin play with various partners (see further description below)

-A "Meal" on us, including one large entree item, a side, and a dessert

-2 drink tickets for your choice of water, gatorade, soda, etc.

-Access to our 50/50 Raffle and Silent Auction Items

Alcohol is available for purchase at the event

For the event, we are going to participate in a fun, round robin style of play! This means that within your self-assigned skill level, you will be designated to a court with a random partner and the two of you will battle the team across the net from you! After a set time, play will be over, and partners will rotate around to other courts to play with new partners! It should result in a lot of fun and fellowship with friends of KLIFE!

Note to Participants

While purchasing your ticket, please select the option for the level of play you would best describe yourself to be. You will also be able to group yourself on the night of the event, this is more for our planning purposes. If you are curious which to register for, here is a quick rundown:

Beginner - You have never played pickleball before but have always wanted to learn, or maybe you have played a few times but don't know much about it. Competitive events may or may not be your jam, but you still like to be active while doing a fun activity. This is the level for you!

Intermediate - You have definitely played and learned the rules but don't get out much to play. Maybe you are able to play once a week or less. You would like to be competitive on the night of the event, but also don't want to take it too seriously. This is the level for you.

Advanced - You have played often, and still do so; maybe one or more times a week consistently. You have also maybe played in a tournament and would like to be more competitive on the evening of the event. This is the level for you.

**Additional Note**
If you are a beginner or you have never played before, there will be a 30 minute tutorial at 6:30pm prior to the event start time. You will get a chance to learn the rules, the guidelines, some basic strategy, and will also get a chance to practice various hitting techniques. If you have always wanted to play but never had the time to learn, this is a great way to break into the worldwide craze that is Pickelball! Please let us know that you will be attending the tutorial.
