Queens Theatre presents: Remembering the 1964 New York World’s Fair

April 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the opening of the 1964 New York World’s Fair at Flushing Meadows. To celebrate, author/presenter Trav S.D. (Travis Stewart) will follow up his successful 2019 program on the 1939 World’s Fair with a three-part exploration of 1964. The event will feature a colorful visual history of the futuristic Fair itself, followed by recollections of those who attended and worked there and conclude with an opportunity for audience members to share their own memories.

From the Dawn of the Space Age to Disney Animatronics, celebrate that brief window of time when Queens seemed like the center of the universe!
