For decades, Sampler Records' annual concerts in Hochstein's magnificent performance hall were a principal focal point of the Irish cultural calendar. They featured music from such departed legends as Marty O'Keefe, Frank Murphy, and Joe Dady, among many others, and sublime dancing from the Drumcliffe School of Irish Dance, all under the watchful eye of Sampler founders Mitzie Collins and Tom Bohrer.

With the same commitment to showcasing Rochester's vibrant Irish cultural scene, Hochstein's new traditional music program and the Joe Dady Memorial Scholarship Fund this year present a tribute to those fondly-remembered shows and the many people who made them so special.

Joining Rochester Music Hall-of-Famer John Dady and Program Director John Ryan is a dizzying array of talent from across the area and beyond, including most of the area's many dance groups. A mix of the old and the new, innovation and tradition, heralding a bright future for Irish culture in Rochester.
