Laughs on the Lake: Comedy with a View

FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2024: Racine Civic Center proudly presents the debut of Laughs on the Lake: Comedy with a View at its spectacular Festival Hall event space. Featuring a star-studded lineup of comedians performing against the stunning backdrop of Lake Michigan, this unforgettable evening of stand-up is the perfect way to relax and unwind as you slide into the weekend. Join us starting at 7pm for tasty drink and concession options at the venue before the show begins at 8pm.

Your headliner for the evening is the hilarious Johnny Beehner:

With a background in improvisational theater, including training at Chicago’s world-renowned Second City and the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, Johnny brings a truly unique style to the stage. He made his network television debut in January of 2015 as one of the last comedians to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman. He has also made numerous appearances on FOX’s Laughs, has appeared on AXS’s Gotham Comedy Live, and regularly appears on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Show. His comedy can be heard regularly on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

Featuring performances by:

Dana Ehrmann first tried stand-up as a student at Carthage College in Kenosha, and has been self-deprecating and discussing sort-of-but-not-quite-adulthood on stage ever since. Now based in Milwaukee, she has performed at the Milwaukee, Floodwater and Great Spirit Comedy Festivals, and opened for Todd Barry, Hari Kondabolu, Dan Soder, and Charlie Berens. She’s also sorry she hasn’t watched that TV show you recommended, but she just has, like, a lot going on right now.

Sasha Rosser’s dark, irreverent act has been seen at clubs and comedy festivals across North America and as the opener for national headliners including Matteo Lane, Shane Torres, Andrew Santino, and Dave Attell. Sasha is a regular at Laugh Factory: Chicago and recurring face on the prestigious Comedians You Should Know and Comedy on State’s Best of the Midwest showcases. In 2023, she was a finalist in Madison’s Funniest Comic Competition and a winner in Madison Magazine’s edition of Best of Madison under Best Comedian. Sasha’s debut comedy album, “Dirty Nerd”, is slated for release in August of 2024.

Andrew Rynning is a comedian, improviser, and writer based in Madison, WI. He is one of the writers for the hit variety show Capitol Comedy Hour and has opened for Caitlin Peluffo, Aristotle Athari, Rachel Mac, and more. He has performed improv since 2018 with Monkey Business Institute and Atlas Improv Company, and took up writing in 8th grade once he realized he was terrible at math. Andrew is originally from Milton, WI, which is generally regarded as unfortunate for all involved.
