Star Wars Day at the Alaska Zoo

The Alaska Zoo's annual Star Wars Day event is a great chance to get photos with members of the 501st Legion Alaskan Garrison, the perfect images to share on your social media accounts. Your photos will be "impressive, most impressive" - Darth Vader. We will have signs with QR codes for visitors to scan with their phone cameras, leading to fun Star Wars pages and trivia. Meet members of the 501st Legion and Alaskan Droid Builders along with R2D2 and take photos with them! We invite all visitors to dress up like Star Wars characters and take a selfie in front of our Star Wars backdrop. Be sure to support the zoo by stopping by to make purchases in our Gift Shop and Kape Espresso Tayo Zoo Coffee Shop on your visit. You can also check out our online registration for the official "Star Wars Critters" virtual program to be held on May 3rd for individuals, families, classes or groups. Register in advance online to receive the Zoom link! All "scruffy lookin’ Nerf Herders" welcome! Drink your "blue milk" and head to the Alaska Zoo! Star Wars Day is a general admission event with regular membership use.
