ARCADIA CRIME: WHAT YOU CAN LEGALLY DO TO PROTECT YOU AND YOUR PROPERTY

Crime and intimidation is on the rise. We see this in the news or we become victims ourselves.  We are victimized when someone steals our delivery packages, robs from our vehicles or takes off with our bikes, tools and other valuable personal property. We become victims when someone makes threatening intrusions onto our property and homes. We are victims to people who purposely roam our neighborhood looking for targets of opportunity – the soft spots in our security. We are victims to those who shadow delivery trucks to discover where packages are dropped off. Ever changed your walking, jogging or biking direction to avoid someone who appears threatening?  Ever felt intimidated by someone who confronts you in the grocery or big store parking lot?  Ever not get a package that the delivery service says was delivered? What can you do to protect you and your property without violating the law?
