"Fall in Tempe" Art Exhibition by Tempe Artists Guild September-November

The exhibit features original artwork by Tempe Artist Guild members in a variety of media. The art was produced using oil, acrylic, pencil, pastel, mixed media, and watercolor and is displayed in the museum's Community Room.

An Artist Reception with refreshments and live music will be hosted on Saturday, September 24 from 5:30 to 7:30PM. It is free and open to the public.

"Tempe History Museum values the opportunity to partner with Tempe Artists Guild to showcase the work of local artists. Visitors to the museum enjoy seeing the variety of depictions of their community through the eyes of these artists and the artwork provides an interesting backdrop to the programs and activities that take place in the Community Room" says Brianna King, THM Museum Program Coordinator.

"TAG members are accomplished artists who create unexpected and intriguing interpretations of what they see," says TAG President Marie Provine. "For this exhibition, we are pulling from seasonal works we've created in the past, and are also creating new works inspired by Tempe's spectacular, evolving landscapes."

"Fall in Tempe" is open to visitors Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
