Hailed as the “Best Market in Chicago” by Time Out, the Randolph Street Market launches their 15th Anniversary celebration with the ultimate summer kick-off bash, the Garden Party Summer Season Opener on Saturday, May 26th and Sunday, May 27th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (early VIP shopping begins at 8 a.m.). Located in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant West Loop neighborhood at 1341 Randolph Street, the beloved one-stop-shop extravaganza continues its milestone anniversary season with an array of outdoor entertainment and fun from more than 300 vendors, the perfect way to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend.

With more than 300 vendors, this year is bigger and better than ever as we head into our 15th Anniversary Season!”
The Garden Party Summer Season Opener kicks off at 8 a.m. on Saturday with a VIP Early Shopping Party in the market cabana. When the market officially opens at 10 a.m, Drag Queens dressed in garden party will shower guests with rose petals upon arrival to kick off the celebration in true garden fashion! From Noon to 2 p.m., attendees are welcome to experience a special Chef Demonstration from some of the Windy City’s top chefs.
Once inside the market, attendees looking to throw the ultimate vintage picnic, tea party, backyard BBQ or cocktail party can explore an assortment of outdoor goods, just in time for the summer season. Beautiful patio essentials will be on display including outdoor furniture from Hello Good Buys and gardening tools and planters from Rand Rosenthal.
The festivities continue with classic summer games for attendees of all ages to enjoy such as vintage croquet and badminton. Fashionistas can keep up-to-date on the latest trends with the special Summer Style Show featuring fashion finds from Man in the Moon, as well as the highly-anticipated Vintage Decades Jewelry Parade and Appraisal Fair from Gallery Wear. Guests looking to unwind can lounge in the market’s cabana and Shade Shack, or enjoy live music in the signature bars to make the shopping experience even more enjoyable! On Sunday from 10 a.m. to Noon, visitors can enjoy a breezy Sun with Tony Morrison’s Jazz Quintet.
Those participating in Bike the Drive the same weekend can also join in on the fun! In conjunction with the event, the Randolph Street Market will offer free tickets to participants and provide complimentary bike valet for bikers looking to shop after the drive.
The Garden Party Summer Season Opener also kicks off the start of free trolleys from Water Tower Place, as well as onsite furniture delivery service for Fulton Market residents, both available through September. All events are dog friendly for guests and their furry friends to enjoy the festivities!
All weekend long, attendees will also enjoy live music on the Main Stage and DJ Djones spinning tracks at the Shade Shack. In addition, strolling models will show attendees how to put together looks from top vintage and designer fashion sellers, Mid Century Mod Pod will showcase how to mix vintage with modern furniture, Randolph Revamp with Loverly Cottage will demonstrate how to make ugly old furniture fresh and modern, and The Weaving Mill will bring a table loom and give demos on old world textile making. Plus, kids will enjoy a petting zoo, face painting, juniors collector’s treasure maps, and pet portraits will also be available by Project Onward.
