Everyone is welcome at the annual Honoring of the Elders Pow Wow
Rescheduled Due to Covid-19 to
August 29 & 30, 2020 10:00am – 4:30pm Rain or Shine
Dancing starts at 11am at the Tamworth Camping Area in Tamworth, NH.
Native American Drumming, Dancing, Singing, Arts and Crafts. The powwow is great fun for the whole family. It is kids friendly and for the most part handicap friendly. Please bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
This is a non-competition Pow Wow. No fancy regalia or footwear is required to participate. If you can walk or roll you can dance. Everyone who is clear of mind, with positive intentions is welcome.
Saturday is Armed Forces Day. Veterans and active duties members are free with VA or military ID. For our public guests, the Tamworth Camping Area has campsite rentals available for the weekend of the Pow Wow. Reserve your site by calling Tamworth Camping Area at 603-323-8031.
Guest drums always welcome. If a guest drum shows up the day of the pow wow they will split the blanket dance money with the rest of the drums.
No drugs, alcohol, firearms, smoking of cannabis or politics within the pow wow.
