Artist Opening Reception One Year Anniversary at Oak Gallery

Oak Gallery is a fine photo and art boutique located in Carlsbad, California bordering the Village of Carlsbad and the Barrio on Oak Avenue. Featuring artists that draw upon their experimental, imaginary, and conceptual seeing eye to bring unique and captivating fine art at its finest. Most art is framed and/or matted, metal, acrylic or presented in alternative methods of presentation such as jewelry, leather bags, pottery, tintypes, tapestries, note cards, and more.

Currently featured fine art photographers are Brandy Sebastian, Barbara Beck, David Page, Penny Kachuck, Terry Scott Allen, Mary Beteta, Todd Bradley, and Chris Madsen as well as a new local high school student for each opening.This Sunday see Tristian Coffman's work from Sage Creek High School. Our Display features work from local artisans and vendors like Sebastian & McConnell Bijouterie selling accessories and Old Cameras Old Photos selling vintage cameras and photos as well as fun camera pins and stickers.

• Brandy’s work is eclectic and primarily conceptual, heavily influenced by her life experiences and spiritual truth as well as an alternative process connoisseur and maker creating thoughtful stories.
• Barbara Beck is a landscape photographer that also experiments with alternative processes in photography, specifically the wet and dry cyanotype photographic process creating beautiful romantic pieces.
• David Page is a keen fine art landscape photographer capturing images from macro to grand landscapes in his continued pursuit of beauty, his prints are on metal or acrylic.
• Where Penny Kachuck shoots straight photography capturing the world as she sees it and composes her images as petite framed fine art photography prints.
• Terry Scott Allen creates large scale images of dramatic and moody landscapes for deep contemplation. Todd Bradley composes playful miniature scenes then captures them as well as stunning landscapes and abstract textures.
• Mary Beteta is a skilled underwater photographer creating unique portraits and themes.
• Todd Bradley composes playful miniature scenes then captures them as well as stunning landscapes and abstract textures.
• Chris Madsen composes cinema like stills of the dark and macabre focusing on the feminine form and has a 91 card tarot deck featuring his portraits.

J O I N  U S  for this very special occasion on Sunday, February 26th, 2023, from 11am to 2pm

The gallery will be hosting food and beverages as well as live music performed by Richard Stockton. A food ticket will be provided to each guest so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy simple food with a beverage.

The location of the gallery is shared with the Glass and Mirror Shoppe at 

3095 State Street Suite G, Carlsbad, CA 92008 

The shared space is behind the main building on Oak Avenue. Free parking is available within the city parking lot next to the gallery as well as surface streets and more city parking located within walking distance.
