Join us for our 8th annual Thank the Turkeys celebration, in honor of the lovely rescued turkeys at the sanctuary and as a reminder of why we fight to end the mistreatment and abuse of turkeys. This year, we are encouraging everyone who registers to create a fundraising page for all of your friends and family (who may be unable to attend) but it isn't a requirement to attend!
Start out with a visit to the wonderful rescued sheep, goats, rabbits, cows, and pigs at the sanctuary before visiting with the chickens and turkeys. Receive a treat box full of delish noms for the chickens and turkeys. After you give treats to the birds, settle down to enjoy the only way we believe you should dinner with a turkey, by watching them enjoy their own hand-made pumpkin pies!
Dinner is hosted at an offiste venue and is absolutely delicious. The Mill Street Kitchen has put together, from scratch and organic ingredients, a delightful and hearty Thanksgiving meal. Enjoy Roasted Butternut Squash Soup & toppings; Seitan Turkey Creamy Mashed Potatoes Vegetable Gravy, Rosemary & Thyme Roasted Veggies, Wild Rice, and Cranberry Dressing, Roasted Garlic & Herb Dinner Rolls. For dessert, choose enjoy Pecan Pie Bites Pumpkin Spice Latte Bites.
