Gloria! Songs of Holiday Joy

Recently voted “Best Performance Group” in the Absolute Best of Long Beach from LB Living, the Long Beach Chorale will be performing their holiday celebration concert, “Gloria! Songs of Holiday Joy” taking place on Saturday, December 10, and Sunday, December 11, at Grace First Presbyterian Church in Long Beach.

 Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria, a piece of celebration and victory is the inspiration for the program. The concert is rounded out with music from other cultures and languages that also celebrate the joy that this season brings. All of the music is hopeful, and audiences will delight in a vibrant Cameroon, spiritual folk song, traditional spirituals in French and Hebrew, highlighted by the Chorale’s brilliant Chamber Orchestra and soloists. This is a program that will strike a joyful chord with audience members and is the perfect accompaniment to this holiday season.
