Memorial Day Family Fun Festival and Celebration 2022

Looking for something enjoyable to do with the family this Memorial Day?

We welcome you to join us in a spectacular festival and celebration that the whole family can enjoy!

Presented by the Church of Scientology of Los Angeles and held on L. Ron Hubbard Way, the festival will go from 12:00pm - 6:00pm and ALL ARE WELCOME!

We'll have a community barbecue including hot dogs, hamburgers and corn on the cob, an all-American band playing all day long and ice cream trucks!
Additional fun and free activities will include:

Bouncy Houses
Inflatable Maze
Water Slide and Splash Pool (for small children)
Patriotic Arts and Crafts
(Including creating mini American flags, red, white and blue necklace making and more!)
Hula Hoop Contest
Sack Race
Huge Bubble Making
Donut Eating Contest
Bird House Making

In addition to the activities, we will be holding a giant candy raffle with the winners called at 3pm! Make sure to come early enough to participate!

Note: All activities above are no charge. There will be an affordable price for the food items at the barbecue and at the ice cream trucks.

VETERAN'S RECOGNITION CEREMONY
2:30pm - 6:00pm

Concurrent to our street festival; and in honor of those who have served our country, we will be holding a Veteran's Recognition Ceremony at 2:30pm. All who wish to attend are welcome.

The ceremony will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem and a moment of silence acknowledging those who have passed in serving our country. It will be followed by several guest speakers and performances including a retired veteran playing taps in remembrance of those who gave their lives in service of the United States.

Free parking will be available for all guests in our parking lot or a nearby lot. If traveling by Metro, get off at the Sunset/Vermont stop and our event is just a short block away.
