About this event

Learn to perform Botox injections and other aesthetic procedures during Dentox's training programs. When you tell your colleagues and patients that the world's foremost authority trained you on the subject, you should be filled with self-assurance and pride. 

The Dentox Course Director and Lead Instructor, Howard Katz DDS, is responsible for the curriculum and instruction. His name appeared on Allergan's patent applications for dental treatments using botulinum toxin (Xeomin, Dysport, Botox). 

Target Audience

The purpose of this activity is to satisfy the educational needs of healthcare professionals who provide treatment to patients with aesthetic demands. 

Program Overview

There are two different ways to learn in this course: 

1. injections of live patients – you must be licensed in the state where training is taking place to participate
2. Simulated skin and facial features – It will still be possible to assess, diagnose, and simulate treatment on live patients and then inject on simulated faces for those not licensed in the training state. It will be possible to practice under supervision in a location where you are currently certified at no additional cost in the future if desired. 

As part of Dr. Katz's course on Botox training for medical and dental professionals in Los Angeles, Dr. Katz will teach them about the therapeutic uses of Botox, such as the reduction of the clenching associated with migraines, depression, and TMD. It's also recommended that students learn to relax the masticatory muscles that contribute to the compression of pericranial nerves and blood vessels.
