Come celebrate our region's wildlife and wild places at the 15th Annual Ojai WILD! on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 4-7:30pm. The event is a benefit for Los Padres ForestWatch, a nonprofit organization working to protect the Los Padres National Forest. The event also celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the Sespe Wilderness, the largest federally designated wilderness area in Ventura County.

Ojai WILD! is open to the public and takes place at The Thacher School's beautiful Pavilion Lawn, with panoramic views of the Ojai Valley and the Topatopa Mountains. Attendees will enjoy a fun afternoon filled with live music by David Segall and friends, local wines, craft brews, specialty cocktails, a delicious farm-to-table dinner and dessert, and exciting silent and live auctions.

Ojai WILD! is Ventura County's longest-running fundraiser for land and wildlife conservation. This year's live auction features an exciting assortment of outdoor adventures and experiences including:
• a weeklong stay for 12 in an oceanfront estate on Mexico's Riviera complete with private chef
• a mountain getaway at an upscale cabin in Lake Arrowhead
• a weeklong culinary workshop in Tuscany, Italy with famed chef Pamela Sheldon Johns
• a private flight in a World War II P51 Mustang plane
• a catered dinner for ten at a private observatory overlooking the Ojai Valley

A carefully curated silent auction includes outdoor gear from Patagonia, one-of-a-kind works of art by Strba, Parsons and other talented artists; photography by Chris Burkard; and unique items from some of the region's top restaurants, shops, artisans, and travel destinations.

Chumash Elder Julie Tumamait will welcome attendees, and Congressman Salud Carbajal will provide remarks on the importance of protecting public lands.

Proceeds from the event benefit Los Padres ForestWatch, a local nonprofit organization that serves as a watchdog for Los Padres National Forest, coordinates trash cleanups and other volunteer projects, and provides opportunities for underserved youth and their families to experience nature. Among many other projects, ForestWatch is coordinating a legal effort to halt a 775-acre logging and vegetation removal plan atop Pine Mountain, a conifer-studded mountaintop north of Ojai.
