Socks in the Frying Pan are a multi-award winning trio from County Clare on the West coast of Ireland, the universal hub of Irish traditional music. Their dynamic vocal harmonies, virtuosic musical ability and their onstage wit, has captured and captivated audiences the world around. One of the most sought after groups in Irish music today, the worldwide 'Sock Invasion' continues!

Socks in the Frying Pan comprises Aodan Coyne on guitar and vocals and the accomplished Hayes brothers. Shane Hayes on accordion and Fiachra Hayes on fiddle and banjo. This youthful trio blends Irish traditional melodies with their own personal flair, which has gained them critical acclaim and accolades, including 'New band of the Year' by the Irish Music Association.

Balladeer Niamh Parsons, and renowned guitarist, Graham Dunne are each a force to be reckoned with in their own right, and together they are simply sublime! Niamh's singing has been described as "both emotionally haunting and tonally as clear as crystal", while Graham's expert accompaniment creates the perfect foil for a rich and warm delicacy. Niamh Parsons has come to be known as one of the most distinctive voices in Irish music. Her voice has drawn comparisons to such venerated singers as Dolores Keane, June Tabor and Sandy Denny. The great Scottish balladeer Archie Fisher said of Niamh, 'a songstress like her comes along once or twice in a generation.'

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Graham Dunne is a multi-talented and very versatile musician. Until very recently, Graham spent a great number of years living in County Clare and, while there, was very much involved in the Irish Traditional music scene, having had the pleasure of accompanying a vast array of wonderfully talented local musicians during that time.

Shay and Michael Black are singing siblings from Ireland's foremost family of song, The Black Family, which includes their sisters Mary and Frances, and brother, Martin. Hailed in the Irish Echo as "one of the most impressive groups of Irish singers to be found anywhere; exquisite, exhilarating and nothing short of thrilling", they raise their sibling rivalry to revelry. The Blacks adroitly accompany themselves on banjo, cittern and guitar. The musical lineup also features keyboardist Eamonn Flynn.

One can expect to hear Irish traditional ballads, Dublin street songs, music hall ditties, contemporary folk compositions, rollicking reels and joyful jigs at their concerts. All interspersed with comic stories, jokes and humorous childhood anecdotes that invariably have audiences smiling broadly and joining in on the choruses. Shay and Michael are close harmony singers with a special fondness for songs that includes their audience in chorus, and many of the songs are narratives with stories.
