Storytime Science for Kids: Lamplights and Fireflights
Saturdays and Sundays, January 1-29, 2023 • Noon and 2:00 p.m.
Bechtel Gallery 3, Classroom 1606
Limited capacity and recommended for families with kids ages 4 to 7.
Note: Storytime Science for Kids is free with museum admission-and it's always free for Daytime members. Just bring your membership card and ID.
Join us for Storytime Science-a storybook read-aloud followed by a related activity geared toward children (and their grown-ups). To celebrate our luminous exhibition Glow, the Exploratorium's Vivian Altmann will read from a different book about fireflies each week. After the story, use simple materials to make your own glowing objects. Take your creations home and keep the fun going!
