ENJOY a classical music orchestra concert with beautiful melodies and exciting rhythms! Conductor Dr. Jason Klein talks about each music piece for the audience before it is performed to add concert pleasure. Concert includes a young violinist performing a violin concerto.

CONCERT PROGRAM: "Kids Rule"

Program music relates to talented young people. The "Kids Rule" concert theme represents this as a special situation for this music. Concert Pieces: "The Snowman Overture" (1908) by Erich Korngold (composed at age 11); "Violin Concerto No. 1” (1948) by Dimitri Shostakovich with Ethan Cotta, violin soloist (age 14); and "Symphony No. 1" (1881) by Alexander Glazunov (composed at age 16).
