When did you stop singing? Rediscover your passion and connect with a new community!
Start singing again with the Agoura Hills Harmony Chorus! We are a non-profit all women's chorus affiliated Sweet Adeline's International. We sing 4-part a cappella music -- barbershop style! We provide vocal education, perform at various events, produce killer shows, and compete in our annual Sweet Adeline's Regional Competition!
But you're not just looking for a place to sing. You're looking for a community - a place to connect and make life-long friends. And this is the best place to do it. We have members that have been a part of this chorus ranging anywhere from 6 months to 28 years. We lift each other up, we support each other, and we celebrate each other (probably because of all the professional therapists in our chorus). Think singing a cappella barbershop music sounds weird? Don't worry, it'll grow on you (it's actually pretty cool). Can't read music? A lot of us can't! We use recorded tracks to help us learn our parts.
We encourage you to check us out, sing with us, and consider auditioning. If you'd like to start singing again and want to make 45 instant friends (we like you already!), visit http://www.ahhchorus.net. We rehearse every Tuesday evening, 7:15-10:15 PM all year round at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church at 1 Church Rd., in Thousand Oaks (no religious affiliation).
