A three-part exhibition about the people, animals and plants that created a home on the Filoli estate. Free with admission. Nest lectures $5 each Filoli is proud to announce its innovative new exhibition, Nest: Creating Home. The exhibition weaves together the formal and informal places in the estate, and explores the stories of the people who lived and worked at Filoli. The exhibition runs from May 10 to November 10, and integrates interpretive stories through an exhibit and guided tour: “The People of Filoli,” a mixed media art exhibition: “The Birds of Im/Migration,” and an environmental art exhibition: “Nests: Patterns from Nature.” “At a time when ‘home’ is being redefined in the Bay Area, ‘Nest: Creating Home’ will tell the compelling story of immigration and migration over the last 100 years through tours, mixed media art, and an environmental art installation. We are very excited to bring our guests on a journey to reflect on what home means to them and share their stories,” said Kara Newport, Chief Executive Officer for Filoli.
