Join us for a magical night of boating and a dazzling fireworks finale presented by Pacifico—stretching from the tip of Hains Point to the docks of The Wharf. This year's parade will be on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 6:00–9:00pm, with Fireworks at 8:00pm. Members of the public who wish to view the District's Holiday Boat Parade do not need to register; attendance is free and open to the public. This year’s Holiday Boat Parade will offer activities for the whole family including: ● Photos with Santa ● Holiday ornament decorating ● Miniature boat crafting ● Live music ● The Lighting of The Wharf Christmas tree The procession of decorated vessels begins in the Washington Channel at 7 p.m. and ends with a dazzling fireworks finale at 8 p.m. The live music and holiday festivities—including ice skating and the Waterfront Beer and Wine Garden—continue until 9 p.m. At the conclusion of the parade, judges will award more than $20,000 in prizes and gifts to the participating boats, including Best in Show, Best Motorboat, Best Sailboat, Best Crew, Community Choice, and more. Boaters who wish to decorate their vessel and participate in the District’s Holiday Boat Parade must register for free here; registration ends November 22. The District’s Holiday Boat Parade is free and open to the public; no registration is required to view the parade or participate in land side activities.
