Notes from Home: Thalea String Quartet at Dumbarton Concerts

Since forming in 2014, Thalea String Quartet has brought their passion for collaboration and community engagement to concert halls and residencies throughout Europe, China, the United States, and Canada. Performing familiar repertoire by “father of the string quartet” Joseph Haydn and a recently unobscured quartet by Florence Price, Thalea String Quartet will help usher in the weekend with this Friday happy hour concert. They will be performing String Quartet Op.20, No.4 by Joseph Haydn and Five [Negro] Folksongs in Counterpoint by Florence Price.
