DC NewsBash, the charity event that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer causes, announces its 14th annual event on Wednesday, May 22, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at its new home at the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC.

The DC NewsBash was founded in 2010 by the DC Newswomen, a collective of 40+ anchors across every major network in the DC region who have banded together to make an impact on their community.

We invite supporters, survivors, and friends to help raise awareness and critical funds for this year's beneficiary, Step Sisters. Based in Northern Virginia, Step Sisters raises funds to alleviate the personal and financial difficulties that come with the disease. The money raised from NewsBash will be put towards their Crisis Fund, which provides support to breast cancer patients experiencing severe financial strain and provides funds for patients’ housing, utilities, and food stability. The Step Sisters’ Crisis Fund works to prevent evictions and utility shut-offs, guaranteeing that patients never find themselves torn between covering treatment expenses and meeting basic needs. This ensures uninterrupted access to treatment for every patient without delay or compromise.
