A unique mixture of education and entertainment, Chautauqua events will be held under a large tent on the New Castle Green adjacent to the New Castle Court House Museum, and will feature theater, music, dance, film, visual arts, lectures and more, culminating at 5 p.m. with American Historical Theatre re-enactors Kim Hanley portraying sharpshooter Annie Oakley on Sept. 10, and Neil Hartley portraying Ichabod Crane, a character from Washington Irving's story, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," on Sept. 11. Free admission!
