Friday February 22 from 8:00 to 9:30 PM: The City of North Miami presents "Jazz at MOCA," starring Mojo Ike and Val Woods, in celebration of Black History Month. This dynamic duo has performed throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. The Ike and Val Woods Blues Band competed and won first place at the Monterey Blues Festivals’ “Battle of the Bands”. They have shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Gill Scott, Ramsey Lewis, KEM, Jerry Butler, Jeffrey Osborne, Bobby Blue Bland, the Whispers, Tommy Castro, Eddie Cotton Jr., Jonathan Butler, David Sanborne, Earl Klugh, Betty Wright, Nestor Torres, the Ruppingtons, Pancho Sanchez and the O’Jays.
