Jazz Matters, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that celebrates and promotes the art of jazz by highlighting the diversity and cultural roots of jazz music and musical genres influenced by it.

Jazz Matters Showcase Series, the signature annual fundraising event, will take place on the grounds of The Wren’s Nest, home of author Joel Chandler Harris on two evenings this year. The Wren's Nest sits on 2-1/2 acres of magnolia and oak trees in the City of Atlanta's historic West End. It is the oldest house museum in the city. The series will feature performances by resident Atlanta artists, as well as regional and national artists. The audience will experience musical performances highlighting the diversity and cultural roots of jazz music and musical genres influenced by it. This year, guests will enjoy the sights and sounds of award-winning artists including Dan Wilson, Barry Richman, Marcus Williams, Louahn Lowe, Jennifer Farnsworth, and Marla Feeney among others.
