Henry County NAACP Juneteenth Celebration

Juneteenth commemorates the official end of slavery in America, and the focus is on cultural appreciation and education. This year's theme is Freedom, Family, Future: Back to Life! This is the Branch's first live event since COVID-19 hit, and we will be following the CDC guidelines for outdoor events. This is a family-focused, cultural community event, and you do not want to miss it! This year's program includes NAACP membership drive, voter education and registration, introduction to the NAACP Branch committees, scholarship information for deserving Henry County youth, and local community entertainment. Most importantly, we want to highlight and support small businesses through vendor opportunities. The funds raised will assist the Branch in providing services to the community while concurrently providing outstanding opportunities for youth in Henry County.
