Henry County NAACP MLK Weekend Celebration

The Henry County Branch NAACP's Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr (MLK-Day) Prayer Breakfast honors the work of churches in our community. This year, the NAACP will also sponsor a Youth Essay and Poetry Award Contest. "Rewarding the Work in the Community" is the theme of this year's breakfast. The MLK Day Annual Parade /Peace March takes place on Mon., Jan, 17th immediately followed by the Youth Program at the Henry County Performing Arts Center located at 37 Lemon Street, McDonough GA. Parade line up is 9:00am/ Parade starts at 10:00am
