A group of Iowa natives and Louisiana transplants joined forces to bring a little spice to Iowa nice. What started as a backyard crawfish boil, Cajun Fest has now grown into a Southern-themed food and music festival. We use our platform to raise awareness and resources for local non-profits, and this year we are partnering with St. Vincent De Paul to create a unique model for philanthropy. Going into year five, we have introduced exciting updates, including a change in venue (Downtown at Cowles Commons) additional activities (crawfish races, spicy food competition, King & Queen Cajun), entertainment (3 live bands), and more!
