Take a break from spooky this year and explore Neon Jungle! An alternative to haunted houses, the immersive walk-through experience under black lights is geared toward kids of all ages. Neon Jungle features a glowing jungle, a mythical forest filled with illuminated flowers and creatures and other surprises.
Neon Jungle will be open for 7 nights only at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds: October 15-17 and October 21-24. Tickets are available online for $10 each. There are multiple time slots to choose from between 5 and 9 p.m. Admission is free for children under 2.
Tickets will also be sold at the door if available, but some time slots are expected to sell out in advance.
The event is a fundraiser for the Wired2Learn Foundation. The Post Falls-based nonprofit helps local students with learning disabilities access innovative, brain-based education they need to thrive.
"The last time we were able to do this event was 2019, and we had amazing feedback from younger kids, teenagers, parents and grandparents," said Russell Mann, Vice President of the Wired2Learn Foundation Board. "Literally everyone loved it. This year it is bigger and better than ever."
The Country Snack Shack will be offering food and beverages for sale and sponsor Numerica Credit Union will be handing out glowing tattoos.
