Loyola Medicine Hospice is offering its six-week Family Grief Support Group open to anyone in the community (not just people affiliated with Loyola) starting Wednesday, May 29th, 2019.The group meets for six consecutive weeks ending on July 3, 2019.

Session 1: Introduction & Overview

Session 2: Remembering our Loved Ones

Session 3: Understanding Grief/Types of Grief

Session 4: Looking at our Own Grief

Session 5: Taking Care of Ourselves

Session 6: Moving Forward


Groups also include days where participants bring photos and other memories of their loved ones and are given the opportunity to talk about them.

All sessions are held at Cantata Adult Life Services in Brookfield (2940 McCormick Blvd, Brookfield, Wye Valley Building 30) from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.


This grief group is free. All materials are free. Registration is free. Parking is free. It is OKAY if you have to miss one or two sessions or cannot make the first one.
