This July 19th, 20th, and 21st Tacos y Tamales returns to 16th Street and Peoria in Pilsen. Attendees can enjoy authentic Tacos y Tamales from Chicago's very best food vendors, beer portfolio by Modelo, Micheladas, music, art alley, and shopping.

The backdrop for Tacos y Tamales will take place in the shadows of the impressive 16th street murals, where local, as well as National and International artists have their works displayed right on the very walls the festival calls home. There will be multiple performance stages featuring live music and DJs throughout the weekend with traditional acts, interactive dance performances, youth programs, and higher energy Latin rock into the night. There will be plenty to enjoy at the festival including "Art Alley" for the best local shopping and live art displays; not to mention countless indulgences for attendees sites, tastes and smells.

The Tacos y Tamales Festival aims to give back to the community in which it is hosted; as a portion of the proceeds will benefit the local Pilsen Arts and Community House, Frida Kahlo Community Group, and Opportunities for All. There is a suggested donation to attend.
