After Hours Film Society Presents To Kill a Mockingbird

Set in 1930’s Alabama, a young girl recounts how her widowed father (Gregory Peck) defended a black man charged with raping a poor white woman in this classic adaptation of Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.

The film is hosted by Mike McCellan, author of Cinema ’62, a book that makes the bold claim that 1962 was the pinnacle of world cinema, surpassing all other years.

Organist David Rhodes and the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ Concerts returned to the Tivoli stage, thanks to a generous grant from the JCS Arts, Health & Education Fund of DuPage Foundation. The organ lights up 30 minutes before the screening, so come early and enjoy the music!
