Takeout Tuesday

The City of Highland Park’s new alfresco event space, The Lot (523 Central Ave.) will host weekly events inviting the community to “come out and play!” Kicking off Tuesday, July 19 and continuing weekly through August 30, from 5-8 PM attendees of all ages will enjoy takeout/delivery meals from Highland Park restaurants, live music, games, special themed nights and other on-site activities and vendors.

 With community engagement and enjoyment at the forefront at Takeout Tuesdays, The Lot will be the place to gather with family, friends, and neighbors, and will invite residents throughout the North Shore to experience all that Highland Park has to offer.

 Attendees can make it a no-cooking night and support local Highland Park restaurants by picking up dinner to enjoy alfresco at The Lot’s dining tables or by bringing their own picnic items. Live music will provide the perfect soundtrack as kids and adults alike enjoy on-site activities, treats and games including cornhole/bags, bocce, and oversized games such as Connect 4 and Jenga.
