Rosemont’s first boutique hotel, The Rose Hotel, 5200 Pearl St., is inviting guests to join them for a wine dinner in collaboration with Prisoner Wine on December 12 with cocktails beginning at 5 p.m. The dinner, hosted by John Samaritano, will delight with four delectable courses, each paired perfectly with a glass of wine for $80 per person. The menu will feature chef-made dishes courtesy of Executive Chef Nicholas Malloy including: Scallops with Parsnip Puree, Poached Apple, Shaved Asparagus, Pancetta and Micro Greens, Smoked Short Rib with Cranberry Polenta, Rainbow Chard, Onion Ash, Garlic Confit Chimichurri, Braised Lamb Shank with Pita Skordalia, Fried Rosemary, Pearl Onion and Lamb Jus and for dessert, mouthwatering Red Wine Cheesecake with a Red Wine Strawberry Reduction.
