Change is Now
The role of community colleges in preparing students for cybersecurity jobs is changing. We must focus anew on workforce development and on the NICE Job Roles. We must raise our capability maturity level. We need evidence-based measures of program effectiveness. We need new programs, program components, courses, labs, practices, and methods of instruction.

3CS is the only national academic conference focused on cybersecurity education at community colleges. The 2019 Community College Cyber Summit (3CS) at Bossier Parish Community College in Louisiana marks the sixth annual edition of 3CS.
Who should attend:
IT faculty who are involved or who would like to become engaged in cybersecurity education. Non-IT faculty in critical infrastructure fields who are interested in incorporating cybersecurity topics into their curricula.
College administrators in positions that influence cybersecurity education programs.
Cybersecurity students interested in learning about security or expanding their current knowledge by attending the 3CS Pre-Summit Job Fair and the Student Track sessions throughout the Summit.
Employers interested in discovering excellent cybersecurity talent at the 3CS Pre-Summit Job Fair. All employers will receive student resumes two weeks before the event and will be invited to a National CyberWatch Center luncheon with educators who create and shape academic program content.
