THE GREEK FESTIVAL IS NOW OPEN FRIDAY 9th 3-11 PM SATURDAY SEPT. 10, 12-11PM SUDAY SEPTEMBER 11 12-8PM Our Annual Greek Festival hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England is back in full swing this year with three days of Greek Cuisine, greek Music and Dancing. Events for the Children. Our famous boutiques and especially our Attic Treasures. Live Greek Music with Taximi and Orefeas and our DJ's George and Chris Athas. Under our huge tent, at our outdoor taverna like you were in Greece, All the foods you can desire from the GYRO, Moussaka, Pastichio, lamb shank, tiropitas, spanakopita Kafenio with Greek Coffee, New England Coffee and Frappes'. Traditional Greek Taverna. This year, master chef and owner of three restaurants Dave Becker will cook and prepare our Lamb Shanks. Wine tasting from 4-6PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the finest wines by Limani of Chestnut Hill. Enjoy all on our six acre grounds at the Center in Brookline at 162 Goddard Ave. Raffle will be drawn on Sunday night before 8PM. Free Parking, free shuttle from Hellenic College. Parking at the Park School. Avon Street as well and parking for our handicap at a62 Goddard Ave. Handicap accessible to the Center Hall as well. On Saturday night between 5PM and 8PM we will have traditional Greek Folk Dancing by our local metropolis Dance Group who after their performances will lead you as the public to join into their dancing. Then dance the night away at your hearts content. Free parking on Avon Street, Park School, shuttle from Hellenic College an 1/8 of a mile away. Handicap parking. Children and Pet friendly event. Signs posted at food line on allergic awareness. Table seating outdoors under the tent for 400 guests, Taverna for 100 guests, Center Hall for 100 guests. Plenty of seating spaces, tables and welcome to sit on our lawn. Children activities behind chalet style Center Hall. Rain or shine.
