Calling all toddlers, tots, and preschoolers ages 3-6! Join waterworks museum education staff this summer for our Preschoolers at the Waterworks Summer Series! Each highly interactive 45-minute session includes a story, an activity, and a take home craft.
In this session, we will first read What Floats in a Moat. Then, we will test a wide range of household items to see if they sink or float (or both!). Finally, we'll use what we learned to create our own boats. This program is recommended for ages 3-6 and is free of charge, suggested donation $5.
Other Sessions in the Preschool Summer Series include:
June 29 – Water and the 3 States of Matter
July 6 – A Raindrop's Journey
July 13 – Bringing Water Home
July 20 – Saving Water
July 27 – Working Against Water Pollution
Aug 3 – Animals Around the Reservoir
Aug 10 – What's an Engineer?
