The Benjamin Nye Homestead & Museum will host the first East Sandwich Antiques Fair on Saturday, October 5th from noon to 3 PM. This fundraising event will be held at the Grange Hall, located at 91 Old County Road, Each Sandwich. The event will feature certified antique appraisals, antique shopping, and a panel discussion detailing the day’s best finds. The panel will feature some of the Cape’s best known appraisers, including Peter Smith, Judy Smith, Jim Poore, Duncan Grey, and Stuart Whitehurst. Mr. Whitehurst is a longtime recurring guest on the PBS broadcast, Antiques Roadshow. $10 admission includes one certified appraisal, with no limit on purchases. All proceeds will benefit the Benjamin Nye Homestead & Museum, a non-profit organization listed on the National Register of Historic Places that is dedicated to preserving the History of East Sandwich, Massachusetts.
