Georgetown Working League-Thrifts and Gifts Shop

The Georgetown Working League is pleased to announce that the Thrifts and Gifts shop will be opening again this summer! The shop will feature items from local artists, precious memorabilia, jewelry, lovingly handmade goods, Georgetown caps, GWL quilt raffle sales and so much more. The shop will be located once again in the Old Post Office Gallery on 5 Islands Road. Shop hours will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10-4 starting Memorial Day weekend and will close on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.

A highlight of the store is the display of the beautiful, handmade Georgetown Working League quilt, "Welcome Home" which will be unveiled during our opening day on Friday, May 27th. The store will be one of two locations to buy GWL quilt raffle tickets (the other is by mail with a form found on our website). The quilt raffle drawing will take place on Saturday, August 13th at the Georgetown Community Center during our Bid$ and Bite$ event (9am-12pm).

The Thrifts and Gifts shop, Quilt Raffle and Bid$ and Bite$ events are the Georgetown Working League's big fundraising events of the year. The money raised will go toward Georgetown Working League scholarships and toward donations to help our community. We thank you so much for your support!
