Blessing of the Bikes

The original "Blessing" got it's start in 1972, had a total of 4 bikes and 8 riders.  Together they gathered at St. Ann Catholic Church in Baldwin, MI and received a blessing for a safe and happy riding season.  From those humble beginnings this festival has taken on a life and a form of it's now.  Now, instead of just a single day, the Blessing spans the entire third weekend in May.  Bikers come from all across the country to take part, beginning with the ceremonial entrance on Friday afternoon down the M-37 corridor, and culminating with the Blessing at the Airport on Sunday.  Highlights include a multitude of vendors, charming downtown landmarks, the rich cultural history of Lake county and the brotherhood of bikers drawn from all corners of the country. 

All are invited to attend and participate in the festivities.  Lets make the 2021 Blessing an affair to remember!
