"The message of Easter is that God's new world has been unveiled in Jesus Christ and that we are now invited to belong to it." N.T. Wright

This program is perhaps the most beautiful sacred concert offered by the choir all year. Through scripture, poetry and song, the life of Christ in His final days on earth will be told, from Palm Sunday, to Golgotha and on to the empty tomb.

This narrative offers the Grand Rapids Choir of Men and Boys the opportunity to sing some of the most beautiful music in the choral repertoire. Anthems by William Croft, Henry Purcell, Samuel Sebastian Wesley, John Stainer, Richard Lloyd. Bob Chilcott, will be presented as well as the two big concluding choruses of Handel's Messiah.

Please join with us as we attempt to pull back ever so slightly the curtain which separates Heaven and Earth…at least the curtains of our heart.
