Celebrate the First Harvest with Weavers of the Web with a ritual, raffle, and picnic! We will be at the Fenner Center scout campground from 4pm until 9pm this year, with ritual at 5pm and raffle to follow at 7pm. Bring your favorite summertime outdoor games and entertainment, along with food and beverages for your family, and enjoy the evening in the beautiful Fenner woods. There is plenty of room for picnic blankets and chairs and running children in the grassy fields. Ball games, tossing games, and board games are all welcome. Please make sure to bring your own seating, blankets, sunscreen, bug spray, and whatever food and drink you will need for dinner.

Our wonderful Fundraising Coordinator has amassed an amazing collection of items donated by businesses through the Lansing area. Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased by cash or card on-site (or purchase your tickets ahead of time online!). From artwork to household goods, from the magickal to the mundane, there’s going to be something for everybody at our Lammas raffle this year. All proceeds from the Raffle will go to benefit our Temple Project. Get your tickets and get some loot!

At 5pm, we will hold our Lammas ritual and bonfire, as we honor the sacrifices made to get us to this point in the year. Our ritual will also be available by ZoomYouTube livestream, and Patreon, as usual, so everybody can enjoy the ritual in whichever manner calls to them best. (Click on the links above for online access.) Give thanks to the gods, our ancestors, and each other, and make your own corn dolly to represent the sacrifices you have made. As a friendly reminder, all observers of WISE-tradition rituals must be participants within the circle, and all are welcome.

For those of you who are planning to attend online, you’ll want to have your own gratitudes ready, as well as cakes and ale (food and drink that involve blueberries, corn, wheat, and other seasonal items are excellent choices). If you have a safe space for your own fire, you can create a corn dolly to burn or write your sacrifices down on paper. Setting up your ritual space at home with incense, candles, and your regular altar supplies will help enhance your experience. Unfortunately, due to the lack of power at our current ritual site, we will only be able to provide online access to the ritual itself.

Attendance to our sabbat rituals is always free! If you purchase a sponsorship ticket from our website, your donation will go toward purchasing ritual supplies. This will allow us more flexibility to use deity statues, decorations, props, and gifts, as well as covering our cakes and ale and other supplies, helping to enhance the ritual experience for everybody. Please note that this is optional; you do not need a ticket to attend the ritual!

Circle cast will be promptly at 5pm.

The Fenner Center scout campground is accessed via a hard-to-see driveway on Mount Hope just east of the main entrance; we will have signs at the street. You can park just inside the gate and hike down to the site, or you are welcome to park with care in the field. Please arrive dressed and equipped appropriately for the weather; we cannot guarantee socially-distanced shelter in the event of rain. Fresh water and a pit toilet are available on site. The ground onsite is grass that is thick and mowed with some uneven terrain. Limited benches are available; we recommend bringing your own chairs if you expect to need seating.

SEVERE WEATHER PLANS: We will be moving this event to the store at Keys To Manifestation if a severe weather alert is issued or if winds exceed 20 mph. As long as it stays dry or is just raining, we will be at the campground. Please be careful and plan for getting wet!
