Bozeman Film Society presents the Montana Premiere of upcoming feature film "Mending the Line." Join us Thursday, June 8 from 6 PM-9 PM at the Emerson Art Center's Crawford Theater for a night of film, community, and raffle prizes. No-host social/raffle begins in Emerson Ballroom at 6 PM, followed by movie/panel at 7 PM.
"Mending the Line" is a story of a former marine suffering from physical and emotional trauma from the war in Afghanistan, his journey finding peace through fly fishing, and helping others. Starring award-winning actors Brian Cox, Wes Studi, Sinqua Walls, Patricia Heaton, Perry Mattfeld, and many more. A post-film discussion featuring the film's screenwriter/producer Stephen Camelio, WQW Alumni/Staff Larry Weidinger, and Urbani Fisheries Biologist Joe Urbani follows.
Filmed in Livingston, MT, "Mending the Line" is Directed by Joshua Caldwell, who's previous credits include Negative, Infamous, and the TV series Release. Bozeman resident Stephen Camelio is the film's Screenwriter/Producer, following up on his screenwriting feature debut The Push. The film is a recipient of a Big Sky Film Grant.
100% of the raffle will and a portion of tickets sales will support the Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation, @warriorsandquietwaters, and their efforts to help post-9/11 and Afghanistan war veterans suffering from trauma.
