Blue Ridge Elder Adventures is thrilled to introduce a nature-based adventure program for people 60+ of all abilities. Our program offers social support with our team of skilled therapists, professionals and accessible transportation to explore the beautiful mountains and community arts and cultural events of WNC.
Choice Care Your Way, owned by Lisa Laney, is a caregiver registry to provide referrals to clients in need of care/companionship/general support to vetted independent contractors from the registry; Unique process where YOU choose the person who will be providing support and YOU negotiate schedules and rates without the high overhead and office complications of a caregiver agency.

Movement for Life offers 1-on-1 physical therapy, personal training, strength and conditioning, fitness classes, Knock Out Parkinson's, LSVT-BIG, weightlifting classes, and Knock Out Parkinson's group classes. Working closely with the PD community since 2015 we are hosting our 4th Annual Knock Out Parkinson's Event at Bill Moore Park in Fletcher on March 5th and continue to coordinate with the Riveter to provide climbing opportunities for people with Parkinson's. All of us are Doctors of Physical Therapy and we have board specialists in geriatrics and orthopedics. We accept insurance and cash, do not require a physician's referral and are open from 7am-7pm.

Sunrise Speech and Swallowing Therapy, PLLC serves the adult and older populations in WNC, is operated by Shelby Bjorlie MA, CCC-SLP, whose specialty is working with people with neurological disorders ie: Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, strokes, and head injuries. Along with voice therapy, Shelby provides the assessment and treatment of swallowing and cognitive disorders and is an LSVT (LOUD) certified clinician.
YMCA of WNC offers Rock Steady Boxing, PWR!Moves, and Pedaling for Parkinson's. Each program offers a unique workout which is research based.
