Tea, and the serving of tea, was an essential part of entertaining and spending time with friends and loved ones during the eighteenth century. Together, we will explore the history and flavors of a variety of teas from this period, including the teas commonly imported from abroad as well as homegrown herbal brews that can be found in the JLMH Herb Garden today! We’ll look at the tools they used to prepare and enjoy their tea. We’ll also make a fun, yummy craft to take home. Lots of tasting throughout!

Tickets range from $15 to $25 and can be purchased via our listing on Eventbrite.

Suitable for ages 6 and up. Feel free to wear your finest eighteenth century or modern teatime attire!
